Edmonton

Edmonton is the capital city of Alberta. Its metro area is home to 1.3 million people, and is the northernmost city of at least one million people in North America, the fifth-largest city in Canada and the largest Canadian city farther than 200 kilometres from the US border.
Central Edmonton

Central Edmonton is most densely urbanized and oldest area of Edmonton. The heart of Central Edmonton is the "Downtown Core": which is what locals call the central business district plus the areas immediately adjacent like the Government Centre and the Warehouse District.
South Central

South Central Edmonton is the urban and central area south of the North Saskatchewan River in Edmonton. The area is artsy, trendy and edgy. In South Central Edmonton you will find some interesting architecture and great festivals.

St. Albert

St. Albert, or Saint Albert, is a city of about 66,000 people in the Edmonton Capital Region. It was settled as a Métis community, and is known for its rich arts scene and Indigenous heritage.
Leduc

Leduc is a city in Edmonton Capital Region. It has a population of 34,000 people. It is known for its industry and the Edmonton International Airport. Leduc County is also home to the Leduc Number 1 Oilwell, which started Alberta's oil boom in 1947.
Spruce Grove

Spruce Grove is a city that is 11 km west of Edmonton, Alberta, in Canada. The city is adjacent to the Town of Stony Plain and is surrounded by Parkland County.
Fort Saskatchewan

Fort Saskatchewan is a city of about 25,000 people in the Edmonton Capital Region. The city is most well known for its proximity to petrochemical facilities, including Dow Chemical, Sherritt International, Agrium and Shell Canada.
Beaver Hills

The Beaver Hills form a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in the Edmonton Capital Region of Alberta, Canada. The Biosphere Reserve is centred on Elk Island National Park which is located less than an hour's drive east of Edmonton on the Yellowhead Highway, and a half hour's drive west of Vegreville in East Central Alberta.
Stony Plain
Stony Plain is a town of 17,000 people in the Edmonton Capital Region. Stony Plain is known as "The Town with the Painted Past" because of the many painted murals in town.Sherwood Park

Sherwood Park is the immediate eastern neighbour of the city of Edmonton. This large suburb has no legal status as such, and is instead part of Strathcona County, which it dominates in terms of population.
