Briançon

Briançon is a city in Hautes-Alpes near to France's Italian border. It is the highest town in France.
Veynes

Veynes is a city of 3,200 people in the western part of the Hautes-Alpes on the right bank of the Petit Buëch river. The small city lies on the road which connects the Drôme on the west side with Gap on the east side.
Risoul

Risoul is one of the many ski resorts in the French Hautes-Alpes. The resort, which is 12 km above the original village of Risoul, is also known as Risoul 1850 or Risoul Station.

Écrins National Park

Écrins National Park is a French national park in the departments of Hautes-Alpes and Isère. The park is the Ecrins mountain range, which is in the French Alps bordered to the south by the Durance valley, to the north by the Romanche valley, and to the west by the Drac and Buech valleys.
