Fort Hays, originally named Fort Fletcher, was a United States Army fort near Hays, Kansas. Active from 1865 to 1889 it was an important frontier post during the American Indian Wars of the late 19th century.

Lewis Field is a sport stadium in Hays, Kansas. The facility is primarily used by Fort Hays State University for college football team. The stadium is also the primary home field for Hays High School and Thomas More Prep-Marian.
Gross Memorial Coliseum

The Gross Memorial Coliseum is a 6,814 seat multi-purpose arena in Hays, Kansas. It was built in 1973. It is the home of the Fort Hays State University Tigers women's volleyball team, as well as the men's and women's basketball teams.
