Jingzhou

Jingzhou is a city in Province on the banks of the Yangtze River. It has been an important historical city for 6,000 years, and is particularly famous for being the capital for the State of Chu during the Warring States Period, and for its importance during the Three Kingdoms Period.

The Guan Yu Statue was a large monument to deified Chinese military general Guan Yu that formerly stood in Jingzhou, China. The statue was completed in 2016 but was dismantled in 2022, pending reconstruction in another location.
