The Laurel Highlands is a region lying in the western foothills of 's Allegheny Mountains. Located approximately fifty-five miles east of the city of , the Laurel Highlands is situated within five southwestern Pennsylvania counties: Fayette, Westmoreland, Cambria, Bedford, and Somerset.
