Puerto Montt

Puerto Montt is a city in the south of Chile, just north of Chiloé Island. Puerto Montt, with great views of the ocean and towering peaks of the Andes, is a center in Northern Patagonia for heading south along the Carretera Austral to Chiloé island, Chaitén, Torres del Paine, Puerto Natales, or east to Bariloche, Argentina.
Puerto Varas

Puerto Varas is a city on the southwestern shore of Lake Llanquihue in the Los Lagos Region. The city is famous for its German traditions, and its natural environment.
Chaitén

Chaitén is in Los Lagos region in the south of Chile. The town has an important transportation hub on the Carretera Austral with major ferry services to Chiloé and Puerto Montt.

Frutillar is a town of 19,000 people in the Los Lagos region of southern Chile on the shores of Lake Llanquihue. Frutillar is known as the "City of Music", and is part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.

The Cochamó Valley is a beautiful valley in the Lakes Region of Chile that is known for its granite domes and old-growth forests.
