Lyford Cay is a private gated community located on the western tip of island in . Considered one of the world's wealthiest and most exclusive neighbourhoods, it contains approximately 450 homes.

Albany is a luxury resort community on the island of in , which opened October 2010. Tavistock Group, Tiger Woods, and Ernie Els created the community on approximately 600 acres on the oceanfront at the southwestern end of the island.
