Santa Susanna is a resort city of 3,400 people on the Costa Maresme in Catalonia. The beaches, bays and facilities of the Costa Brava are nearby. It is a laid-back town set between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountainous wooded backdrop of the Massif Montenegre.

Pineda de Mar is a municipality in the comarca of the Maresme in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the coast between Calella and Santa Susanna. The main N-II road and a Renfe railway line run through the town. Pineda de Mar is situated 4½ km southwest of Malgrat de Mar.
