Euljiro 1 -ga is a station on the Line 2 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. The station is found on the north end of the Myeongdong shopping district and is the station closest to the main branch of the Lotte Department Store.

Deoksugung, also called Deoksu Palace or Deoksugung Palace, is a former royal palace in Seoul, South Korea. It was the first main palace of the 1897–1910 Korean Empire and is now a major tourist attraction. Deoksugung Palace is situated 690 metres west of Jungang Substation.
