The Royal Abbey of Our Lady of Fontevraud or Fontevrault was a monastery in the village of Fontevraud-l'Abbaye, near Chinon, in the former French Duchy of Anjou. Fontevraud Abbey is situated 3½ km northwest of L’Échaufaud.
