Fort Erie Race Track is a horse racing facility in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada, that opened on June 16, 1897. The racetrack is often referred to as "the border oval" because of the track's proximity to the U.S. border. Fort Erie Race Track is situated 1¼ km south of Fort Erie SPCA.

The Peace Bridge is an international bridge over the Niagara River between Canada and the United States, located just north of the river's source at the east end of Lake Erie about 20 kilometres upriver of Niagara Falls. Peace Bridge is situated 3 km southeast of Fort Erie SPCA.

Fort Erie is a town of about 33,000 people in the Niagara Region. It is directly across the river from Buffalo, New York, and is the site of Old Fort Erie which played a prominent role in the War of 1812.
