Barekamutyun is one of the two terminal stations of the Yerevan Metro, opened on 7 March 1981. The station is located in the center of Yerevan, in the Arabkir District, with access to Marshal Baghramyan Avenue, Kievyan, Hrachia Kochar, Kalents, and Vazgen I Streets. Barekamutyun is situated 400 metres southeast of Pikniko.

Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex, also known as Demirchyan Arena, Sports & Music Complex, or simply Hamalir, is a large multi-purpose sports and concert complex with 184 stairs leading up Tsitsernakaberd hill which dominates over the western parts of Yerevan, near the Hrazdan River gorge. Karen Demirtchian Sport/Concert Complex is situated 1½ km southwest of Pikniko.
