The Spanish city of Córdoba has the remains of a Roman temple, which was discovered in the 1950s during the expansion of City Hall. It is located in the angle formed by the streets Claudio Marcelo and Capitulares.

The present church and defunct convent were built on a space that always harbored large buildings for its location at the door of the city along one of the main access roads.
