Ngārua Caves

The Ngārua Caves are a series of limestone caves in the Tākaka Hill range south of Abel Tasman National Park. The caves are located close to Takaka Hill's summit, adjacent to State Highway 60 as it winds its way over the Takaka Hill between Motueka and Upper Takaka.

Upper Tākaka is a settlement in the Tasman District of New Zealand. It is located in Golden Bay, 20 kilometres south of Tākaka. Located near the head of the Tākaka valley, Upper Tākaka is on State Highway 60, at the western end of the Tākaka Hill road. Upper Tākaka is situated 5 km west of Bobs Lookout.
