Brinje

Brinje is a locality in Kranjska Gora, Julian Alps. Brinje is situated nearby to the village Dovje, as well as near the locality Tromostovje.

The Mittagskogel or Kepa has an elevation of 2,145 metres aA, and is thus the third highest mountain in the Karawanks range, after Hochstuhl/Stol and the Vertratscha/Vrtača. It is located on the border between Slovenia and Austria. Mittagskogel is situated 3½ km north of Brinje.

Dovje is a village in the Municipality of Kranjska Gora in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia, located on the southern slopes of the Karawanks at an elevation of 703 m.
