Skansin

Skansin is a historic fortress in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands. Skansin is located on a hill beside the port of Tórshavn. The fort was built in 1580 by Magnus Heinason to protect against pirate/slave raids of the town, after he himself was nearly caught up in one such raid.

Tórsvøllur is a football stadium on the sport site of Gundadalur in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands. The stadium holds 6,500 people, and was built in 1999 to become the country's national stadium to provide an artificial grass surface on which international football matches could be played.

Listasavn Føroya is an art museum in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, for mostly permanent exhibits of Faroese arts. Established in 1989, it consists of a gallery called Listaskáli and another for historic arts with an area of 1,600 m2.
