Independence Monument

The Independence Monument in Lomé, the capital of Togo, was built as a tribute to the country's independence from France on 27 April 1960. It features a white bust of a woman holding up a cooking pot, in front of a silhouette of a figure holding up their arms as if they were breaking chains that shackled them together. Independence Monument is situated 770 metres southwest of Moov Africa.

The Sacred Heart Cathedral is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lomé, one of the seven Catholic church districts of Togo. Built in just over a year by the German colonial authorities, it quickly became one of the iconic buildings of the new capital of Togo. Lomé Cathedral is situated 1½ km southeast of Moov Africa.

Lomé is the capital and largest city of Togo. With a population of almost 2.2 million, the city is the economic and cultural center of the country. Around a quarter of the country's population lives here.

Aflao

Aflao is a coastal town in Ghana bordering Togo. While east of the Togolese side of the border the city is the capital, Lome, the once-called "Pearl of West Africa", the Ghanaian town is a typical African border town built solely to service the movement of people and goods.

Denu is a small town which is the capital of Ketu South Municipal, a district on the south-eastern corner of the Volta Region of Ghana, next to Aflao the border town with Togo. Denu is situated 9 km southwest of Moov Africa.
