Avenida da Liberdade is a boulevard in central Lisbon, Portugal. It was constructed between 1879 and 1886 and designed by the Portuguese engineer Frederico Ressano Garcia. Avenida da Liberdade is situated 190 metres northwest of Avenida Station.

Dedicated primarily to revues, which are known in Portugal as Teatro de Revista, the Teatro Maria Vitória opened on 1 July 1922 in the Parque Mayer district of Lisbon, which was at one time known as the “Broadway” of Lisbon. Teatro Maria Vitória is situated 140 metres west of Avenida Station.
