St. Johann Nepomuk, better known as the Asam Church, is a Baroque church in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. It was built from 1733 to 1746 by a pair of brothers, sculptor Egid Quirin Asam and painter Cosmas Damian Asam, as their private church. Sankt Johann Nepomuk / Asam Church is situated 130 metres southeast of Memoture.

Founded by Stephanie and Christian Utz, it opened on 9 December 2016 in a former municipal electricity substation at Hotterstraße 12 in the city’s Altstadt district. Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art (MUCA) is situated 120 metres northeast of Memoture.

Altstadt meaning "old city" is the very heart of Munich. Three gates are all that remain of the medieval defensive walls, but within is a well-preserved district with many of Munich's iconic sights: twin-towered Frauenkirche, New City Hall with clockwork figures dancing to the chimes of its Glockenspiel, and Hofbräuhaus that temple to drinking and gorging.
