Hāpuku is a locality at the mouth of the Hāpuku River in the Canterbury Region of New Zealand. It is about 9 kilometres northeast of Kaikōura. State Highway 1 and the Main North Line run through it. Hāpuku is situated 8 km southwest of Rākautara.
