Miller is a train station in , serving the South Shore Line commuter rail system. It serves the community of and is one of three South Shore Line stations within the municipal boundaries of Gary.

The is a two-story brick building in the community in , in the United States. It was constructed to serve as the administrative building for the town of Miller, incorporated in 1907, and was used for that purpose until Miller's annexation into Gary in 1918.

William A Wirt Senior High School was a four-year public high school of the Gary Community School Corporation in . In May 2009 the school announced that after over 70 years it would be closing.
