The Mazzaspitz is a mountain of the Oberhalbstein Alps, overlooking Juf in the canton of Graubünden. It lies south of Piz Platta, on the range between the valley of Avers and the Val Bercla.

Piz Surparé is a mountain of the Oberhalbstein Alps, located west of Bivio in the canton of Graubünden. It is the highest point of the range between the Val Bercla and the lake of Marmorera. Piz Surparé is situated 2½ km northeast of Underjuf.

Juf is a village in the municipality of Avers in the canton of Grisons, Switzerland. At 2,126 metres above sea level, it is historically the highest village with permanent residents in Western Europe, as well as one of its coldest localities.

Bivio is a village and former municipality in the Sursés in the district of Albula of the Swiss canton of Graubünden. On 1 January 2016 the former municipalities of Bivio, Cunter, Marmorera, Mulegns, Riom-Parsonz, Salouf, Savognin, Sur and Tinizong-Rona merged to form the new municipality of Surses. Bivio is situated 6 km northeast of Underjuf.
