The Hörnli Hut is a mountain hut located at the foot of the north-eastern ridge of the Matterhorn. It is situated at 3,260 metres above sea level, a few kilometres south-west of the town of Zermatt in the canton of Valais in Switzerland.

Picco Muzio

Picco Muzio is a minor summit below the Matterhorn on the Furggen ridge. Because of its prominence on that ridge, it was included in the 'enlarged list' of alpine four-thousanders.

Zmutt is a small village in the municipality of Zermatt, Valais, Switzerland, situated at 1936 m in the Zmutt Valley west of Zermatt. The village chapel is dedicated to Saint Catherine of Alexandria, patroness of the Valais. Zmutt is situated 4 km northeast of Hörnlihütte.

Furi is an alpine hamlet in the Pennine Alps, located three kilometers south of Zermatt, Switzerland at an altitude of 1,687m. It is located on a relatively flat area of land between the Gornera and Zmuttbach rivers. Furi is situated 4½ km northeast of Hörnlihütte.
