It was built in 1725 by the Fondazione Vilhena of Grand Master Manoel de Vilhena, and was rebuilt in the 1780s. Ta‘ Kola Windmill is situated 390 metres southwest of Ix-Xagħra - Calypso.

The Basilica of the Nativity of Our Lady is a Roman Catholic parish church in Xagħra, Gozo, Malta, dedicated to the Nativity of Mary. The present building was constructed between 1815 and 1855, on the site of a smaller church which had been built in the 17th century. Basilica of the Nativity of Our Lady is situated 450 metres southwest of Ix-Xagħra - Calypso.
