The Houston Heights Woman's Club was organized in 1900 to support any literary and scientific undertaking; the maintenance of a library; and the promotion of painting, music and other fine arts.

The is a house located in Houston, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The house is a unique variation of the Bungaloid influence within the historic district, with an unusual brick-over-concrete with double gallery supported by tapering square portico.
