  • Inscription: “1937年12月13日，侵华日军攻占南京东郊马群，仙鹤门一带，俘获我抗战官兵及民众15000余人。同年12月18日，日军分散多处将4000多名手无寸铁的平民和俘获集体屠杀。翌年春，仙鹤村附近尚有大批尸体横躺在村外麦地里。据当地居民谭庆瑞、和允兴、仇兴中、和允州、盛文金等共同回忆，1938年春，村民们曾自发将遇难同胞的尸骨，分别就近掩埋于一座“大坟”内。此座“大坟”内掩埋尸体约七百具。特立此碑，以志纪念。”
