Villanueva de la Reina is a town located in the province of Jaén, Spain. According to the 2005 census, the town has a population of 3352 inhabitants. It was named after Queen Isabella II of Spain as a reward for the aid it received from the monarch. Villanueva de la Reina is situated 7 km south of Los Estacares.

Espeluy is a town located in the province of Jaén, Spain. The town was reorganized and repopulated by the Instituto Nacional de Colonización in the 1950s. According to the 2024 INE figures, the city had a population of 591 inhabitants. Espeluy is situated 7 km southeast of Los Estacares.
