Sanderson station is an Amtrak railway station serving the small West Texas town of Sanderson. The unstaffed station is located alongside West Downie Street in the southwest corner of the town. Sanderson station is situated 3,000 feet southeast of Terrell County.

Sanderson is a census-designated place in and the county seat of Terrell County, Texas, United States. The population was 664 at the 2020 census. Sanderson was created in 1882 as a part of neighboring Pecos County. It became the seat of Terrell County in 1905.
