Onitsha is a city of 1.5 million people in Anambra State in Southeast Nigeria. Onitsha can claim two distinctions. First, it is said to have the largest market in Africa in terms of volume of goods and geographical size.

Asaba is a town in Delta State, South South Nigeria. It is also the administrative capital of the state and falls at the west bank of River Niger.

Nkpor is a town in Idemili North local government area of Anambra state. The town of Nkpor had an estimated population of 109,377 in 2007. It is attached to the much larger city of Onitsha to the west, Oze to the north, Ogidi and Umuoji to the east, and Obosi to the south. Nkpor is situated 7 km east of Shanaham.
