Waitangi is a locality on the north side of the Waitangi River in the Bay of Islands, 60 kilometres north of Whangārei, on the North Island of New Zealand.

Te Haumi is a settlement south-east of Paihia and north-west of Opua in the Bay of Islands area of Northland Region, New Zealand. The Rangatira Tohitapu lived at Te Haumi until his death in 1833. He is remembered in the naming of Tohitapu Road. Te Haumi is situated 2½ km south of Haere Mai Welcome.
