Népsziget is a neighborhood in , located in the and districts. It is also known as Újpesti Island or Mosquito Island. The peninsula is approximately 2 km long and covers an area of 50 hectares.

Újpest-városkapu is a station on the Budapest Metro Line 3. The station was opened on 14 December 1990 as part of the extension from Árpád híd. It primarily serves the extreme southwest corner of district, northwest and several northern suburbs through the bus terminal, railway station and park and ride lot, located over the station.
