The Benjamin Church House, a modestly sized Temple-style Greek Revival home, was built in 1843–1844 by a pioneer carpenter of that name in Kilbourntown, a settlement on the west side of the Milwaukee River. Benjamin Church House is situated 1,300 feet north of Humboldt Quick Mart.
