Witzenhausen is a little town on the lower Werra river in North Hesse. It is widely known for its extended cherry gardens which surround the town and will give you a favourable view when visiting Witzenhausen during the blossom of cherries.

Lindewerra is a municipality in the district of Eichsfeld in Thuringia, Germany. It is part of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Hanstein-Rusteberg. Before the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 Lindewerra was one of the few villages in the German Democratic Republic that could be observed directly from the West.
