Daegu International Airport is an international airport serving the city of Daegu and the surrounding area in southeastern South Korea. The airport is also a military base for the ROKAF's 11th Fighter Wing, whose three squadrons fly the F-15K. Daegu International Airport is situated 1½ km north of Ayanggyo.

Dongchon Station is a station of the Daegu Subway Line 1 in Geomsa-dong, Dong District, Daegu, South Korea. It is located at Dongchon old course. As it is connected with Ayanggyo station by underwater tunnel, it is deeper than any other station of Daegu Subway Line 1. Dongchon is situated 1 km east of Ayanggyo.
