Beppu Tower is a 100-meter-tall lattice tower located in Beppu, Ōita, Japan. Initially built to help boost tourism in the area, today the tower is primarily used as TV transmission tower. It has an observation deck at a height of 55 metres. Beppu Tower is situated 3 km north of Yasakadera.

The Oita Marine Palace Aquarium is located on the Takasaki Yamashita Coast in Oita City, Oita Prefecture, Japan. Its common name is Umitamago. The aquarium opened in 1964 as the Oita Marine Palace Ecological Aquarium, and was reopened on April 1, 2004 as the Oita Marine Palace Aquarium "Umitamago". Oita Marine Palace Aquarium ‘Umitamago’ is situated 3 km east of Yasakadera.
