University of Copenhagen Arctic Station ) is a year-round, environmental research facility in central West Greenland. Located about 300 metres northeast of Qeqertarsuaq, it faces Disko Bay and the Davis Strait on the south coast of Disko Island with the Blæsedalen valley to the north. University of Copenhagen - Arctic Station is situated 4 km southeast of Akuarut.

Qeqertarsuaq is a port and town in Qeqertalik municipality, located on the south coast of Disko Island on the west coast of Greenland. Founded in 1773, the town is now home to a campus of the University of Copenhagen known as Arctic Station. Qeqertarsuaq is situated 4 km south of Akuarut.
