It is the largest Orthodox church in Serbia, one of the largest Eastern Orthodox churches and it ranks among the largest churches in the world. Saint Sava Cathedral is situated 170 metres southeast of Bel Prime.

Vračar plateau is a plateau on top of the Vračar Hill in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, with an absolute height of 134 metres above sea level. It is the purported location of the 1594 Burning of Saint Sava's relics by the Ottomans. Vracar Plateau is situated 130 metres south of Bel Prime.
