Built in the 16th century, it is the largest historical mosque in Bosnia and Herzegovina and one of the most representative Ottoman structures in the Balkans. Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque is situated 160 metres northwest of Abu Žadallah-Old Town.

The Emperor's Mosque is a mosque in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Completed in 1457 CE, it was the first mosque built after the Ottoman conquest of Bosnia. Emperor’s Mosque is situated 130 metres south of Abu Žadallah-Old Town.
