Ypsario

Ypsario or Ypsarion is a mountain in Thasos island, Greece. At 1204 metres, it is the highest point of the island. It is most commonly reached by hikers via the village of Potamia, although it can also be reached from Theologos. Ypsario is situated 3 km north of Κεδρέλι.

Theologos is a village and a community in the central part of the Greek island of Thasos. According to the 2021 census, it has 1,548 residents. It was the marketplace and administrative centre of the island during the Ottoman rule, from 1455 to 1902.

Kastro is a small village in the interior of the Greek island of Thasos. It is believed to be the oldest village on the island. The village name comes from the old castle that existed here to protect the inhabitants. Kastro is situated 3½ km west of Κεδρέλι.

Potamia is a village on the island of Thasos, Greece. It is built in the valley at the foot of Mount Ipsario, and surrounded to the south and east by pine and sweet chestnut forests. Potamia is situated 5 km northeast of Κεδρέλι.
