Boticas is a town and a municipality in northern Portugal, in the district of Vila Real and in the Trás-os-Montes region. Covering an area of 321.96 square kilometres, it had a population of 4,832 in 2024, while the town of Boticas itself had 1,540 residents in 2021. Boticas is situated 4½ km west of Brasão dos Carneiro Queiroga.

Vidago is a village and a former-civil parish in the municipality of Chaves, in the Portuguese district of Vila Real. Until its merger into the parish of Vidago, Arcossó, Selhariz e Vilarinho das Paranheiras, the civil parish administered an area of 6.40 square kilometres and included a population of 1186 inhabitants. Vidago is situated 5 km southeast of Brasão dos Carneiro Queiroga.
