Built in 2003, as the main venue for the Miss Universe 2003 pageant, which took place in Panama that year. Figali Convention Center is situated 560 metres northeast of Mirador al Pacifico.

The Bridge of the Americas is a road bridge in Panama which spans the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal. Designed by American civil engineering company Sverdrup & Parcel, it was completed in 1962 at a cost of US$20 million. Bridge of the Americas is situated 2 km northwest of Mirador al Pacifico.
