The Monastery of San Xoán de Caaveiro is a Galician monastery founded in the tenth century by Saint Rudesind. It is situated in A Capela, in Galicia, within the Fragas do Eume natural park.

The Fragas do Eume is a natural park situated in north-west Spain. Fraga is a Galician word for "natural woodland", and the park is an example of a temperate rainforest in which oak is the climax vegetation.

An hórreo is a typical granary from the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula, built in wood or stone, raised from the ground by pillars ending in flat staddle stones to prevent access by rodents. Ventilation is allowed by the slits in its walls.
