Cadillac-sur-Garonne is a commune in the Gironde department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. The town is best known for being the namesake for the title adopted by Antoine Laumet de La Mothe, sieur de Cadillac, the founder of Detroit and Governor of Louisiana, on his arrival to what is now the United States.
