The Monte Rosa is a hotel, located in the main street of Zermatt. It was frequented by the members of the Alpine Club, including Edward Whymper who made the first ascent of the Matterhorn in 1865.

Zermatt GGB railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Zermatt, in the Swiss canton of Valais. It is the northern terminus of 1,000 mm metre gauge Gornergrat Railway and is served by local trains only. Zermatt GGB railway station is situated 490 metres north of Matterhorn Museum.
