The Teshel Hydro Power Plant is an active hydro power project near Teshel, Smolyan Province, southern Bulgaria. It is situated along the river Vacha in the Rhodope Mountains. Teshel Hydro Power Plant is situated 3½ km southeast of Roman Road station.

Teshel is a small reservoir situated in the Western Rhodope Mountains of southern Bulgaria. Its lies in Borino Municipality in the western part of Smolyan Province, between the lands of the villages of Borino and Yagodina. Teshel Reservoir is situated 4 km east of Roman Road station.

Borino (Bulgarian: Борино is a village of Smolyan Province in southern Bulgaria. It is the administrative centre of Borino Municipality. Borino is situated in a valley in the Western Rhodope Mountains, at an altitude of 1,140 metres.
