The Liberty Theatre is a historic vaudeville theater and cinema in Astoria, Oregon, United States. The whole commercial building of which the theater is the major occupant is also known as the Astor Building, especially in the context of historic preservation.

Fort Astoria

Fort Astoria was the primary fur trading post of John Jacob Astor's Pacific Fur Company. A maritime contingent of PFC staff was sent on board the Tonquin, while another party traveled overland from St. Louis. Fort Astoria is situated 630 feet east of Museum of Whimsy.

The Astoria City Council selected the garden as city's bicentennial legacy gift in recognition of Astoria's Chinese heritage. Garden of Surging Waves is situated 350 feet west of Museum of Whimsy.

Astoria is a city on the Northern Oregon Coast. It is a small rainy town on the edge of the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean. It is famous for being the terminus for the Lewis and Clark Expedition, the setting of the movie The Goonies, and its Victorian-era homes built into the hillside overlooking the Columbia River.
