Taubenkogel

The Taubenkogel is a 2,301-metre high peak in the Dachstein Mountains of Upper Austria, northeast of the Hallstätter Glacier. It can be reached from the summit station of the Dachstein Cable Car on the Gjaidalm or from the Simony Hut. Taubenkogel is situated 3½ km northwest of Dachstein View.

Hirzkar Lake

Hirzkar Lake is a group of small lakes in Upper Austria. In the past, there were more lakes but many have since dried up. A hiking trail connects the lake area to Krippeneck and a cable car located at Gjaidstein. Hirzkar Lake is situated 2½ km north of Dachstein View.
