Muro is a small municipality on Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands, which are part of Spain. It is located in the north-east of the island. With a history stretching back to prehistoric times, Muro has been shaped by various cultures, including Roman and Muslim influences, before becoming part of the Kingdom of Majorca after the Catalan Conquest in the 13th century. Muro is situated 4 km southwest of Font de Son Sant Joan.
