Japan Women's University is the oldest and largest of private Japanese women's universities. The university was established on 20 April 1901 by education reformist Jinzo Naruse.

St. Mary's Cathedral is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Tokyo. It is located in the Sekiguchi neighborhood of Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan. St. Mary’s Cathedral is situated 650 metres east of Naruse Memorial Hall.

Higo Hosokawa Garden is a Japanese garden located near the Kanda River in Bunkyō, Tokyo. The garden underwent renovation work and along with this there was a request for submission of a new name for the garden. Higo-Hosokawa Garden is situated 430 metres southeast of Naruse Memorial Hall.
