Oybek or Aybek is a station of the Tashkent Metro on Oʻzbekiston Line. The station opened on 8 December 1984 as part of the inaugural section of the line, between Alisher Navoiy and Toshkent. It is named in honor of the poet Musa Tashmukhamedov.

The Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan is the largest national art museum in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan. Its permanent collection contains more than several thousands works, divided among four curatorial departments. State Art Museum is situated 680 metres northeast of Silk Road.

Tashkent is the capital and largest city of Uzbekistan, with a population of just over 3 million in 2024. It was an ancient city on the Silk Road, the network of trading routes between China and Europe, but what you see now is mostly modern - it was wrecked by an earthquake in 1966 and rebuilt in Soviet style, with humdrum medium-raise lining interminable boulevards.
